Psalm 15 · New King James Version
- 1
LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
- 2
He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart;
- 3
He who does not backbite with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
- 4
In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honors those who fear the LORD; he who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
- 5
He who does not put out his money at usury, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
The idea
Holy Hills is a film company. Not a service.
How we work
Verse 2 · walketh uprightly
Tell the truth about the world.
We show problems as they are. No tidy sinners, no easy villains, no rescue in the first act.
Verse 2 · truth in his heart
Heart posture before craft.
We check why we are making a film before we check how. The work is a ministry first.
Verse 3 · backbiteth not
Never mock the audience.
We film for people who would walk past a church. We do not talk down to them, and we do not bait them.
Verse 4 · sweareth to his own hurt
Finish what we start.
We keep our word to collaborators and to the story, even when it costs the budget or the schedule.
Verse 5 · shall never be moved
Steady, not trendy.
The look, the pace and the message do not bend to whatever is loud this month.
Tone
Honest. Poetic. Unhurried.
If a frame, a line or a graphic feels like it is trying hard, we cut it.
